• The flowers in the sanctuary today were given in loving memory of Mr. John Blount, in honor of Mrs. Thelma Blount, and in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Shaw Fletcher, and they were given by Robert, Tricia, and Sadie Blount.

 

• Ladies’ Day will be next Sunday, February 26. All ladies are invited to help fill the choir loft for the morning service. Pat Northrop will be our guest speaker.

 

• There is a Mission Opportunity to help rebuild Emmanuel Baptist Church in Hackleburg, Alabama. This is a church that was devastated in the 2011 tornado. Anyone interested in joining Carpenters for Christ June 5 to June 15 may contact the church office for more information.

 

• We regret to announce that Kim Tomlinson will be resigning as director of FBC Preschool at the end of this school year due to their family moving to the Macon area. Therefore, we are currently accepting applications from church members for the position of FBC Preschool Director, and this will continue through March 2. Applications and job description are available in the church office.

 

• A special service, Remembering the Passion of Christ, is being planned for Palm Sunday,

April 1. Please contact Jane Fussell for more information on how you can help.

 

• Preschool registration for summer and fall 2012 will begin Monday, February 27 for

church members and currently enrolled students. Open registration will begin Thursday, March 1st . We will have open house March 1st , 5:30-7:30.

                                   

• Mark your calendar for March 15, 2012 at 6:00 pm for our Sportsman Banquet to be held “under the tent” in the parking lot of FBC. Lt. Clebe McClary will be our guest speaker.
